Committee Members

Fr. John Maduri

Fr. Maduri is the diocesan liaison for the Renewal Office of the Diocese of Brooklyn for the English speaking communities. He was appointed to this position in the Fall of 2023 by Most Rev. Robert J. Brennan, Bishop of Brooklyn. Fr. Maduri succeeds Josephine Cachia who gave 40 years of faithful service as liaison for the Renewal Office.  He also serves as the pastor of Most Precious Blood - Sts. Simon and Jude parish in Brooklyn and sits on several diocesan committees.

Gloria DaBreo

Gloria DaBreo is a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux parish. She has been involved in the Renewal for more than 35 years and has been on the Renewal Office Committee for more than 25 years.  Gloria brings valuable experience and insights to this ministry and her contributions have been appreciated by countless people of the diocese.

Charles Cardone

Charles Cardone is a member of Our Lady of Grace parish in Brooklyn.  He has served many years as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and has been actively involved in the Renewal for over 30 years. Charles also participates in a local men's Scripture faith sharing group providing deep insights from his many years of service in the Church.

Nicole Compagnone

Nicole Compagnone is the faith formation director and part time youth minister at Our Lady Help of Christians - St. Thomas Aquinas parish.  She has a gift of teaching the faith with an obvious enthusiasm and love for the Lord.  She has impacted many lives in her ministry, especially the young, with her faith and hope-filled stance in life formed by her obvious love for the Lord.

Melissa Palmaccio

Melissa Palmaccio is a member of St. Helen's parish in Howard Beach.  She has been an active member of the Renewal for over 25 years. Melissa has served as a catechist and was a member of the first class from the Diocese of Brooklyn to attend Catholic Distance University where she received her Catechetical Coordinator Certificate. She is also member of the Knights of Columbus, Don Bosco, Council in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In her particular career Melissa is exposed to the sufferings of many people and brings a great sense of compassion to those she encounters with the life giving gift of the Holy Spirit.
